Fulbright Scholar Liaison Training: NAFSA Regional VI & VII

 


Join us for the NAFSA Pre-Workshop Liaison Training, an engaging pre-conference session at the NAFSA Region VI & VII Conference on November 8, 2026, lunch from 12:00-1:00 PM and training from 1:00-5:00 PM,  Atlanta, Georgia. Please register below by August 24.

This in-person workshop is a unique opportunity for Liaisons from Region VI and VII states to connect with colleagues, expand their professional networks, discuss best practices, and strengthen their impact within the international education community. Participants will meet Fulbright Program staff, fellow Liaisons, exchange best practices, ideas and experiences, and learn how to use the resources available through the Fulbright Liaison Virtual Toolkit to increase applications and engagement on their campuses. The Fulbright Program will cover the registration cost to attend the pre-conference workshop.  However, if you are interested in attending the NAFSA Region VI & VII Conference, please register separately here.

In addition, a limited number of travel and accommodation funding opportunities are available for Liaisons who meet one or more of the following criteria:

1. Have not attended a Liaison training within the past two years
2. Have served as a Liaison for one year or less
3. Represent a community college
4. Represent one of the states within NAFSA Region VI and VII
